# Oppo's Find X10 Pro Max Prototype Still Packs Triple 200MP Cameras
An engineering prototype of Oppo's Find X10 Pro Max is still carrying three separate 200-megapixel rear sensors, according to leaker Digital Chat Station — a configuration that, if it survives to retail, would be the first of its kind on a phone.

## Digital Chat Station's Latest Prototype Still Shows Three 200MP Sensors

The tipster's newest Weibo post, cited by [reporting on the Hasselblad-branded camera system](https://www.notebookcheck.net/Oppo-Find-X10-Pro-Max-First-ever-600-MP-Hasselblad-camera-system-moves-closer-to-mass-production.1341610.0.html), says the current test unit pairs a 200MP main camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, both built around roughly 1/1.3-inch sensors, with a third 200MP ultrawide camera on a smaller but still unusually large 1/1.5-inch sensor. None of that guarantees a final spec — the source is explicit that the setup has "not yet been finalized for mass production" — but it does mean Oppo has kept the triple-200MP array alive for months rather than quietly dropping it. A 3MP multispectral sensor for color calibration and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera are also expected to round out the system.

Sensor-size fractions look abstract until they're placed next to something familiar. A 1/2.76-inch sensor is roughly what a typical 50MP ultrawide camera uses today; the reported Find X10 Pro Max sensors are all substantially larger, which in practice tends to mean more light gathered per pixel, better dynamic range in dim scenes, and more real detail to work with when a user crops or digitally zooms — the actual reason large sensors matter more than the megapixel count itself.

## From a Fallback 50MP Lens in May to a Repeated Triple-200MP Claim in July

The triple-200MP idea isn't new, and it hasn't been a straight line. An [earlier report from mid-May](https://www.channelnews.com.au/oppos-find-x10-pro-max-could-launch-with-triple-200mp-camera-system/) described a similar setup — a 200MP main sensor, a 200MP telephoto sensor, and a 200MP ultrawide sensor — but with slightly different sensor fractions and an explicit caveat that Oppo might still swap the ultrawide unit for a smaller, more conventional 50MP sensor before launch. Two months later, [the newer prototype coverage](https://www.smarthouse.com.au/oppo-moves-closer-to-launching-worlds-first-triple-200mp-camera-phone/) and [a parallel write-up citing the same Weibo update](https://www.androidheadlines.com/2026/07/first-smartphone-with-three-200mp-cameras-could-be-on-the-horizon.html) both report that the full triple-200MP configuration is still present in current testing, suggesting Oppo hasn't pulled the plug on the more ambitious version. That's a meaningful shift from "one of several options" to "still there after further testing," even though it stops well short of confirmation.

## How a Three-Sensor 200MP Array Would Compare With Rival Flagships

Dual 200MP setups already exist. Notebookcheck points to the [Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo's own Find X9 Ultra](https://www.notebookcheck.net/Oppo-Find-X10-Pro-Max-First-ever-600-MP-Hasselblad-camera-system-moves-closer-to-mass-production.1341610.0.html) as recent examples, and the entire Xiaomi 18 line is expected to carry two 200MP sensors for wide and telephoto duty starting this fall. A third simultaneous 200MP sensor — covering the ultrawide role as well — would be a step beyond that pattern rather than a repeat of it, which is the basis for outlets calling this a potential "first."

The rest of the leaked sheet points to a phone built to move the extra image data: a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset reportedly made on a 2nm process, a 6.89-inch BOE LTPO OLED panel at 2K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and BT.2020 color support, and ColorOS 17 on Android 17. None of that has been confirmed by Oppo or MediaTek, and the Dimensity 9600 Pro itself hasn't been officially announced. Battery and charging details haven't surfaced in any of the current leaks. The Find X10 Pro Max is also a different device from the Find X10 Ultra, which is tipped for early 2027 with its own dual-periscope zoom system — the two shouldn't be confused despite sharing a naming lineage.

```
None of this is locked in. Every figure here traces back to Digital Chat Station's Weibo posts, and the leaker's own May report shows Oppo was still weighing a simpler ultrawide sensor at that point. Whether the triple-200MP array survives into the retail Find X10 Pro Max — expected alongside the standard Find X10 and Find X10 Pro sometime between September and October — is still an open question that only Oppo's own announcement can settle.
