# Prescribed Burns Cut Giant Sequoia Wildfire Deaths by 77%, Study Finds

## Nearly One in Three Assessed Sequoias Died in the 2020–2021 Fires

## Prescribed Fire Cut Mortality Odds by 77 Percent
